Hotel in Nice - Ok
This hotel was a nice hotel. Very clean and good appearance. This hotel was kinda far from the beach area. About 30 minute walk to main beach area. But the price was right.
The hotel was cleand and room was quite and clean. Probably that is why my roomate slept in till about 2 pm that one day.
The beds were very comfortable and big. You could sleep naked quite well in the blankets as they were so comfortable and silk.
The staff were very pleasant -- especially the sweet woman who served us breakfast every morning. The hotel was closing for a month-long vacation the day after we checked out. Despite the fact that the staff were anticipating their long-awaited vacation, the level of service did not suffer one bit. Our room was quite large, with a lovely armoire and three sets of French doors. The lobby and stairways were very pretty, with marble floors and stained glass windows
Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

An Aussie Bar in France
Wayne's Bar is located in Nice, France.
It is an Aussie Bar. We went here with our Contiki group in 2005.
The entire staff here are all Australian. The waitress who served us was very good, named Britney.
We arrive around 730pm as there was still happy hour for another hour till 830pm. Drinks were about 7 euros at happy hour. So almost a bargain, lol.
After that it was 10 euros or more for drink. However, by that time, we were quite blasted and did not care anymore of the costs.
This place was quite cool, even though it was a tourist bar. You are not allowed to dance on the floor. But for dancing you have to stand on the chairs and tables to dance.
So eventually we all were dancing on the tables and falling off the ceiling.
There was a big live band playing and it was quite good, as well some Do it yourself singing was available as well.
We were drinking some type of french brand of beer all night and some Long Islands. So It was a messy night in the end.
The music seemed quite well, but the washroom was up some stairs and in a tight corner. Not the best situation after a few drinks, as I almost fell down the stairs a few times.
Overall it can be a fun place to go and have a wild evening out. Recommended for all the party people out there. Enjoy!
