Muaksan (무악산) ..Pictures At Last
December 15, 2005
Since my time is coming to an end I finally took the camera up Muaksan to take some pictures of the lookout and the signal tower. You get an idea of what it is like up there, but I must stress that it's actually nicer than the pictures I think. I always feel relaxed up there, having a look out over some of the apartments mingled with the mountains. A nice scene.
And on my way up to the summit what did I see? A squirrel in the trees - a rare sight according to some, but I don't know; it's the second squirrel I've seen since I've been here, so no big deal, hah.
A little history - you can read the picture above, but a rough breakdown: The East Beacon Signal Station is National Treasure #13, was built in 1442, and it was a key signal station for the cities defenses.
