We approached Hatley Castle from the rear, so as not to disturb her afternoon nap, hahahaha!

Kelly informs us that she is hungry again, which is no surprise at this point, since it "has" been 3 hours since she last ate.  No one is surprised that is, except Kelly herself.  So we stop in, for a small adventure and education at a local Dairy Queen...

And moving on we hit the X-Men castle ... otherwise known to everyone else as Hatley Castle, situated upon the grounds of the Royal Roads University a short half hour drive from downtown along the coast.  The castle has a great view of the waters along her shores, and her face is adorned with colorful vines and stars in the autumn sun...a cool mixture of green and red from her cornices to her embattlements.  Large paintings of peacocks surround the castle, but we did not spend the adaquate time to search the gounds for the real peacocks, of which there are supposed to be dozens.  Katherine is also not pleased as the tour of the gardens and the castle itself now requires a fee.  "She never had to pay a fee before," she exclaimed.  I suggested that the flood of acne wielding comic book geeks and nerds from all corners of the earth must have savagely assaulted the castle since the first X-Men movie...enough for them to instate a fee.
