Crossing the island via highways and small roads off the beaten path, we next hopped over to the Butchart Gardens. Mind you that i have not been back here for nearly 20 years ... perhaps more but i can not really remember at this point. As much as i could remember...it was a place filled with flowers hahahaha. Rather obvious recollection im sure, but now, as old as i am, i think i enjoyed it vastly more than i had before. Besides, the two swooning girls skipping and hopping up and down the walkways and flowerbeds really puts you in the mood hahaha ^^. So many plants and flowers, so many shapes and sizes, colors and hues. As we were pressed for time, we almost ran from section to section, but we still managed to take breathes and moments of selfish elation here and there. Time would certainly wait for unabashed beauty ... in the forms of pistils and petals.
Kelly at once found a new lover and madly fell head over heels with the hanging gardens of Fuschias. Actually it made all too much sense to me after i saw their color, why the color was so named ... after the flower. Them gave off an air of everything that moved Kelly from within: simplicity and elegance.
