Middle Atlas Excursion

We hired a grand taxi and took a tour of the Middle Atlas mountains for a day.  After travelling through a lot of desert, it was a shock to see so much green grass and trees.  Seeing as the new princess (1 week old) has just been named, there is a cause to celebrate, so we saw a demonstration of fantasia at one village - this is where a group of horsemen gallop away and fire guns almost simultaneously - crazy!

We visited a range of towns, including an alpine type village you´d expect to see in Switzerland, housing a Saudi Arabian private university.  Our driver thought that the skinny pale faced locals were hilarious. 

It was a great day out, and to be recommended.
