Getting to Kruger very early in the morning
So yesterday was really overcast and it had threatened to rain... well... it stormed!  Lightening hit so close near by that the thunder clap shook my room.  But as I woke, it was a perfect day... cool and clear!  William and I headed out for Kruger at 6 am.  We had a great day at the park.  We managed to see 4 of the Big 5... Elephant, Giraffe, Buffalo & Lion.  The only one we did not see was a Leopard.

Had some interesting things happen... we were charged at by an Elephant.  We believed some other people had spooked him and we happened to be in his exit path.  William swung around towards the watering hole and the big guy just started at us.  Will said... "Take the picture.  Take it now!" and then we made a very hasty retreat.  It was a lot of fun.

Then we caught sight of a Bushbuck... the bravest Bushbuck in the history of the world.  That little guy just walked right up between 3 big crocodiles... and grazed away.  We really thought that we would see it eaten right before our very eyes.  But alas... the Crocs were not hungry right at the moment.
