Back to Zagreb

The tour took us back to Zagreb where everyone else was flying out the next morning.  My husband and I would be taking the overnight train to Venice instead.  The bus ride back to Zagreb felt strange;  we’d already said goodbye to these people and here we still were.  I think everyone had mentally moved on to what they would be doing next and about getting back to their normal lives.  We were worrying again about finding the correct train.

We bought presents for the grandchildren, had dinner, and caught the train.  I’m glad to say it was the correct train.
