Awe
Apparently the Springs hosts a hot-air balloon festival each Labor Day Weekend and has done so for the past 32 years. I happened to be out with the dogs when I noticed the balloons in the air over town. There were 20 or so of them in the air which sent me straight home to find out more.
We drove to Prospect Lake off of Union and Platte by Memorial Park at 6:30 am and weren't disappointed. Honestly, after confering with my sister, we have come to the conclusion that the balloons were amazing to see but the pictures recorded a better account than we can ever recall or write. That being said; enjoy the photos :)
Okay, I didn't think that the pictures could get much better...but no, they do. So after converting them from the RAW files I'll post some better ones...
