Unattended stopover!

We missed the first of our 4 home flights in Apia Samoa!

All the TravBuddies will laugh:our flight in Apia was at 1245 am,we went to the Airport at 1000:our flight

was gone since hours!

I thought that 1245 am means noon 45,in fact it was 0045!!! I have to do some progress in my broken English!

I try unsuccessfully to cancel my Singapore Airlines flights!!

I go to Air New Zealand office in Apia Samoa and buy 2 tickets to Auckland, for the next day.

We were very disappointed there(imagine the cost of 2 return tickets Auckland-France!)

Finally I arrive at Auckland Airport,run to the Singapore Airlines office and there...................

meet a MARVELLOUS girl who delivers us FREE return tickets for the next day!!!!!

I do love Singapore Airlines!I dream when I compare their customer service with Air France'one!

Wuahaha... :D It could happen to anybody Bernard... The time was tricky, we have to be careful, especially between 00.00 and 12.00 and if it affects many flights.

Jet Park

Convenient and affordable ,great restaurant near Auckland Airport

After missing our return flight to France,we had to stay one day in Auckland.We stayed in Jet Park,an independently owned,family-run hotel,a 4 stars(some Overnighter rooms are not). We had a Premier room,recently refurbished with all new and up to date with a large shower with hairdryer,flat TV,good size bright,quiet and clean room with all facilities AC,safe,Iron and ironing board(I have never used one!),Broadband internet,safe,minibar...
The hotel provides a free airport shuttle running all the time.
The staff is ,helpful and professional,the checkin was swift.
And last but not the least,the award winning RESTAURANT WAS GREAT.It provide an excellent range of seasonal dishes reflecting a fusion of local and internationalcuisine.Good service and interesting WINE list.
We had here our best FOOD in South Pacific!
We pay 77 euro for the room(Breakfast is 20 NZdollar each).
