Before going to Tanna island to see the Yasur volcano, the most active accessible volcano of the world, the main reason of my South Pacific's
trip,we stopped one day in Port Vila ,the capital of Vanuatu,a TAX HAVEN , and spent our first night in Seabreeze Resort.
We enjoyed this NICE town located in front of lagoons, its climate(after 2 days of rain in Ovalau Fiji!).
We spent a lot of time at the market offering tons of vegetables and fruits(which seem expensive for the local standard of
life).There is no bargaining.Also are sold flowers,souvenirs,food(laplap).
Then we went to the National Museum.
Everywhere you can take a small van like taxi for a coin of 100 Vatu (0,80 Euro)and be dropped in any place in town.
If you want to change somme currency there, the best place is Goodies open from 0800-1730 on Monday-Friday,0800-1300 on Saturday
They have 2 locations, one next El-gecko restaurant, the other opposite Westpac.
