Back to Fiji mainland
September 15, 2008
As Air Fiji cancelled our flight to Ovalau,we decided to go by boat to Suva and then by bus to Nadi(allthough we had our Air Fiji tickets!)
to catch our flight to Port Villa VANUATU.
We only spent few hours in Suva,Fiji's political and administrative capital , biggest town of the South Pacific, containing almost half
of the Fijian population and the USP,University of South Pacific. It's a noisy, crowded and smelly town which lies on a peninsula about 3km wide
and 5 km long.
We only had a glance at The University SP,jointly owned by the governements of 12 Pacific countries and at the Parlament of Fiji before taking
our Sunbeam bus to Nadi.
After a bustrip of 3 hours,we arrived in Nadi and went to the Bluewaterlodge.
