I will be writing about my experiences applying for and serving as a volunteer in the Peace Corps.

No computer, no story...

My computer died for a month, got fixed in Baku, then died again more permanently like.

For me, since I don't have a computer or any sort of internet clubs in my town of Davachi, I have to get on a bus and come here to Baku if I want to use the internet or to even write anything.  Hopefully soon I'll be able to write about the experiences of the last couple of months.

Here is a quick list of things that have happened:

- I have my own apartment now, but it might be only a temporary location.  I'm SO glad that I am not living with my old host family anymore.

- I am trying to get a grant to start a teacher only computer room in my school.

- We put on an "English Day" performance and it was super fun for the students.

- One of my Azeri friend's brother might have murdered his wife, and not far from my house either.

- Summer is almost here and nobody wants to work hard at school anymore.

Hope to update soon...
