Passing Luzerne

I have always enjoyed coming to Luzerne for it´s calm strees and the amazing views. Having a brother that lives in Basel forces you to vist the city since it is only one hour south of Basel, and boasting invigorating mountain views, lake cruises and a picturesque old quarters.

After stopping in the city for no reason other than just to enjoy yet another fantastic Swizz city, it is very rewarding to drive around the beautiful lake where you have the most amazing views with mountains and water. The traffic is as normal very calm driving around here and roads like these tend to bring the best cars out of the garages - and beeing in Schwitzerland these cars are just showcases.

I have driven around the lake many times in a very slow mode just looking for a spot where I could stop and enjoy more than amazing views beeing a lowlander from the flat Denmark. The pictures are from a stop I did with my son - and I was just taken by the light of sun reflecting in the water.
