Seriously, our adventure in Las Vegas, started WILD. We stopped in Henderson and went to the library. Why, you ask? Because libraries have free internet and electrical outlets. Much charging and emailing was done. It was also ridiculously humid and hot outside and our car is like an oven. The library was literally a breath of fresh air, and the only place we could find solace. We also had unlimited access to books on tape, and after discovering the glory that was Deception Point, we took advantage. We may or may not have uploaded "Sisters" by Danielle Steele.
Janelle isn't allowed to gamble. She has an addictive personality. So instead, we decided to experience the other part of the Las Vegas experience. The buffet. We headed to the Orleans and ate ourselves sick, fully taking advantage of this unlimited supply of food we suddenly had available to us, then spent a bit of time at the penny slots just for shits and giggles. We drove down the strip at night to see the lights and glamour, and that was pretty much it.
It ended up being pretty late by the time we left, and we knew we weren't going to find somewhere to camp in Vegas, so we just started driving. Where to? LA.
