Women’s Day 2009

Women’s Day is a very odd holiday, its history goes back to those times when women had no voting right and wanted it. Now it is the only day when (our) men are to give us flowers and say nice words. One of the most insincere days. Better to keep far from it and enjoy doing what you really like. I like simple things including hanging out with my family.
To make it a real fun my mom and me, we invited my aunt, my dad’s sister, to join us -she is nutsJ and one of my best friends despite 44-year age difference! Yeah, she is still dating guys, and with a big success. I hope it is somewhere in our family genes J
Three Russian beauties - my mom, my aunt and me - had a long long breakfast together, then took a nice long long walk - we were lucky to have pretty warm weather, -1C - and were chatting and laughing A LOT. Since my aunt is over communicative and over talkative person I am proud to say that I manage to insert a word when she is talking J Now when we all are always busy and my aunt and I don’t travel together anymore (she was my first and the best TB for years) and don’t get together often these short get-aways are the best gifts ever. And for the Women’s Day as well J
