Weather changes in Thailand

Day 4 : sunny- rainy - cloudy - rainy
What a day!! Weather in Thailand is so crazy!! Sunny in the morning, then rain all the sudden!!
Woke up at 10am, had some breakfast. Hit to Wat Doi Suthep. First, when to the zoo area with that red taxi. A guy there told us to wait until they get 10 people. We weren't sure if there will be 8 more people show up.. It's Chiang Mai and not a busy season at all. We've decided to walk a bit and then try to get one of the red taxi. Okay, we walked for about a few minutes and saw a taxi. I mean lots. One of the guys came to us and he said he'll drive us up to the mountain. He told us to pay 200 baht! It's too expensive!! And he was drunk. I didn't notice but my friend said so. I don't want any drunk driver.. We walked a bit farther and waited for another taxi. That guy fallowed us and kept telling us to get on! We said ' NO'. Found one and we finally got on. It was only 70 or 60 baht. Started raining and was so foggy up there. When we got on the right taxi and were looking down the street and we found that drunk driver with custmors!! He looked funny. hehe. A girl in that taxi waved a hand to me cuz we talked a bit when that driver asked us to get in for the second time and told them that he's drunk. They were like.. 'ohhh..' Though they are local so should be fine.. So I waved her back. My friend was like 'who are you waving to?' haha!
We had lots of stairs to get into Doi Suthep. It was harder than the Great Wall in Beijing to be honest. How many stairs they had.. It took us a several minutes to get up there. Rain was getting harder too. We took off our shoes and walking around with bare feet. Felt good in the rain ;)
We had to pay 30 baht to get it. Used to be free so my friend said..
A guy stopped me when I get into one of the building. I was wearing a short skirt so I couldn't get in. There was a long skirt (wrapped one) for rent so I wrapped myself with that fancy cloth. Now I can enter :)
Wow! This is a cool place! I wish the weather was better. At least not raining.. too bad >.<
I took some photos and moved to a place where you can see the whole city of Chiang Mai. BUT again, it was raining with foggy. I barely saw the city. Half of them were coverd with cloud so I couldn't even see it!!! Damn weather!
Stay there for about half an hour. On the way back to the city. We met a cool couple from Germany in a taxi. They paid 200 baht up to the mountain and they didn't know it was expensive. Now they know it was way too much! They were such a nice people :)
Head back to the city. This time we paid only 60 or 50. Can't remember. But was cheaper.
Got off at the Central mall. Called his friend to come to hang out with us. We went for bowling in a mall. Cool place with balck lights. But I suck at bowling. Really!! Last time I did was like 6 years ago. The girl next to us was super good at bowling. She was with an old guy, say age 60. He didn't play much but she was playing for the whole time and how many time I saw her scored srike! I'm sure she's working at a bar and trying to get a western guy to get married and leave Thailand but she should be a pro bowler or something. So good!!! We were all staring at her for a while with our mouth opened.. :P
Had dinner at this big restaurant. It's the place where you can have buffet. Not sure what's it call in English. It's like bbq on the top of a big bowl surrounded by soup. You bbq meat on top, put veges, fish, or whatever you want to boil to this soup. It was yummy!!! We ate a lot!!!!! So full!!!!! Is it thai ski? hmmm.. don't know.
Well, I was full and wanted to go back to guesthouse so three of us got on nicky's motorcycle. It was my first time to do that with three people!!!! What a fun experience!! And was raining a bit too.. :)
Said bye to nicky and my friend.
