A historical site
This open-air museum offers a classic 19th century cultural landscape, a traditional farm, a cotter`s farm, a summer mountain farm and worker barracks.
Stenberg was originally a farm, but have since they turned it into a museum been devided into several farms. They have moved old houses, barns and blacksmiths from other parts of the county here, and they are very well preserved.
There are lots of different activities and arangements thruout the summer. Both for kids and addults. Some of then do cost money, but it's a fair price.
I love walking around this place. There are walking trails all around and you get a feeling of peace while there. Well worth a visit...
