Riga

Arriving to Riga,first stop of my baltic´s adventure

i had a flight conection from London stansted,it wasn´t funny,because i had to wait all night into the airport, my checkin was 4 am,because departure flight was 6 am,anyway,most important was to arrive to Riga in the morning,Franks Hostel was close the bus stop.and i went there like typical backpacker,with my backpack

 franks hostel staff gave me a beer like welcome present, i was talking with 2 british-not too much clever,one of them was living 1 year in the south of spain and he dind´t know anything of spanish langauge-

i need to wait for hostel chec in ,because they had to clean my room,i was very tired,and obvioulsy i needed a shower,but i had to go outisde,i was walking around Riga´s old town, freedom monument and the park was my first magic Riga´s point,i was eating there ,around me i saw a lot of people,a sunny day was pèrfect to stay walking around,my first minutes and hours at Riga

one sms came from unknown number,it was coming from Lasma a coucsurfer that asked me if i had arrived to Riga,finally we selected 19h to have a meeting,before i went back to the hostel,i took a fantastic shower,put all my clothes outisde my backpack,and i was sleeping 1 hour

i had the meeting with Lasma at freedom monument,at first time we went to cuba´s bar,close cathedral dome,and we drank 2 beers,and she said me she wanted show me a cool riga´s bar,it was leningrad bar,it was very curious,because furniture and decoration is like a saloon and living room of soviet time,we talked a lot,from travels,new destinations,cultures,places to go, life

next day i had a meeting in the morning with Ieva ewocee,my  travbudy´s friend  from Vilnius, she was coming from london,we had our meeting in a typical and easy  place everywhere.

... in front of Mcdonalds!!! i hate Mcdonalds,but is easy to find and was in front of the freedom monumet,from the first time i had good  feeling  with her and it was if  i knew  Ieva  from a lot years ago,we ate in a restaurant and we were talking about a lot of things,from life to travel ,we spent 3-4 hours walking around Riga,after lunch time i had other meeting,with Jelena,a latvian friend who worked with me at Scotland, before the meeting close my hostel a journalist came and took me a lot of pictures,maybe my look was like a tourist,a t shirt  of Italy, and she gave me globes,take this globes for photos please where was ridiculous but was funny

after this joke Jelena,Ieva and me when to sky view hotel for a coffee ,the view from 22nd flor is amazing,you can see a incredible riga´s view,was nice to stay there,we talked about too much things,Ieva took a lot of pictures,also from the toilet and at the end going down into the elevator.
