The days leading up to the cruise were spent in pure anticipation. Trust me...you could tell from my over-excited version of Smokey's song "Baby let's cruise, away from hereeeeee, my intermittent shouts of "YEAH BABY" while driving down the highway and the fact that my brain had shut down from "work" for about 2 weeks.

First Stop: Cozumel

The first thing i noted about Cozumel...well first two things...were the beautiful blue waters and the blazing heat. And I thought Trinidad was hot!!!! We squinted our way around the tourist mall for a good 15 mins before our eyes finally adjusted to the sun's dazzling, burning rays. The people were very open and freindly and everybody was calling out to people to come into their stores and check out their goods.....They were very persistent, lol!

We walked around a bit and then visited a superstore nearby...That's when we got the hook up witha cool taxista who took us to Paradise Beach. Again, he was very friendly and told us about the different places as we passed by. When we finally got to the beach it was BEE-U-TEE-FULL...lol. Hundreds of blue umbellas dotted the white sands and the beach was abuzz with activity. Playing some nice Caribbean (Bob Marley) music as well. Respects to the legend!

We visited a beachfront kiosk and had a little drama there. While checking out their dresses I spot a mega crab...yes it was mega...amongst the clothes.... Of course all the ladies in the store were screaming while one of the beach boys got the crab out. I'm sure he was screanming inside as well lol.

My mom and big sis relaxed on the beach while my lil sis and I ventured into the water. Extremely salty...but nice.
