Small and simple resort with great view
This resort lies in the bay of Oualie Beach with a great view of the sister island Saint Kitts. The rooms are nice and clean. Enough privacy and peace. Rooms aren't extremely large but neat and well furnished.
The resort has a great restaurant and a good bar. Their head bartender is famous in the area because of the drinks he makes. He got an award for the cocktail Monkey Passion.
The resort is owned by two brothers. John is the one you will see most. Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays (steelpan music at the beach) in high season there will be live music and dancing. Fun to be there. Locals will show up too. High season is end of October until April.
At the beach are many things to do. There is a guy renting mountain bikes, doing tours, giving windsurfing lessons and canoe trips. An other guy is doing diving trips. The beach is not the most beautiful of the island. There is a small pier with boats and a water taxi.
If you wanna stay here, you need to bring some money. Not possible for backpackers, it's too expensive for that.
I used the bar of the restaurant for five months as my office. I was working for the owner of the mountain bike shop and there was no place to stay.
