Eddies

In 2006/2007 I lived in Nevis, a small Caribbean island. I did an internship for my study Sports, Management & Business. That was definitely the time when I fell in love with the Caribbean culture. I also visited the islands St. Martin, Anguilla and Dominica.
Wednesday is the day to be at Eddies
Eddie, crazy Eddie is the owner and bartender of "Eddies" ;-) He is a big and funny guy. His bar/restaurant is only open at Wednesdays and in the high season (starting from November). Since there is no other place on the island where there is something to do at Wednesdays, the place is always busy.
At dinner time this place is loaded. They serve pretty good and tasty food here. Local and continental. I celebrated my birthday at this place and enjoyed the food very much. Around 10pm or so most people left and the party people start coming in. The dj sets up his stuff and is the star of night. Nice dancing music to have a good time. The dance floor is not really big. Half of it is in the open air. If you don't like to dance you can hang at the bar and have a talk with Eddie or your friends, or sit in the dining room, where you can have some more privacy and the music is not so loud. The bathroom facilities are good and clean. Prices are resonable, also for the food. Definitely a cool party place!
