Warsaw day 3
December 29, 2006
The third day was a slow starter we stayed a long time in the hotel and used the facilities. As the pool was closed we had to enjoy the relaxing facilities of the gym!

Usually it is a good idea to ask at the reception of a good hotel if they can recommend a good restarant and in Warsaw we had the fortune get guidance to visit a very cosy and romantic restaurant "Ala Gloria".
The entrance of the restaurant is very beautiful but you wonder if you are on the way to a restaurant or what it is. You enter what seems to be a large lobby of a hotel complex but the restarant is in the basement.
Once you are in the restaurant it is fanatsticly cosy - the general theme are strawberries - they are everywhere, otherwise it is all kept in oldfashion white.
The service was swift and friendly. The food was really good and was a bold variation of traditional polish cuisine - wild boar, goose, dear and so on.
