Ia is famous for its spectacular sunsets. I wasn't disappointed even though it wasn't quite spectacular as usual because of that thick layer of haze...
Ia, just like Fira, is full of restaurants, bars and small shops. It is also a wonderful place to walk around along the small alleys where you discover beautiful sights around each corner. It also has its own steps down to the port of Ammoudi, donkey taxis but no cable car.
At sunset time the place is packed with visitors, so it is a good idea to come early if you want to be in a nice place for the show!
