Fira

Fira is the island's largest center. It is one of the main Aegean destinations for cruise ships who can be seen close to the Old Port, at the foot of the caldera.
To get there you can either walk down, take a donkey ride or the cable car.
Fira is a good place to do some shopping, that is if you are looking for jewelry, watches, clothes (mainly women's) or just souvenirs... The place is just packed with restaurants and bars, some of them with amazing views on the city.
