The Bangkok Meet Up
Day 3. What was supposed to be allocated for Bangkok City Tour turned out as our ultimate rest day! Not by choice but Cathy was feeling not very well. She had head and body ache which made us just appease ourselves in the hotel where I just spent the whole day watching Olympic games TV coverage. I was hopeful that Cathy will feel better, and join me in the meet up but she decided to just stay in the room, rest instead, and prepare herself for the long trip to Cambodia waiting for us the following day. She made her point, and her first-ever decision in this trip, which I obviously followed.
The meet up was supposed to officially start at 5PM at Hippie Bar in Khao San but due to heavy traffic, I arrived in the resto at around 630PM. Dodge and JC were occupying a table outside the place, already enjoying their 2nd or 3rd beer. It was like meeting these two for the first time again with great feeling of excitement I had.
Not long after my arrival, we were joined by New who just came from work, and was supposed to watch Wall-E with her officemates, but obviously chose the meet up. I learned she was the one assigned for Hippie Bar. We transferred upstairs and occupied the tables which New had reserved for the Bangkok TB meet up.
Just when we were ordering food for dinner, Tuktaa arrived and sat next to me. Yes, she is a TB member, but not that active. We were chatting a bit wile waiting for our food when we sensed something we didn't really want to see oustide--- WHAT THE #$%^& ?! IT WAS RAINING CATS AND DOGS!!!
We were worried as to how other attendees can reach the venue without delays and austerity. But one by one, either with wet hair, clothes, or feet, the Bangkok meet up cast managed to pull themselves in, and enjoy the big party which was after all what they came for!
As planned, we moved to Gazebo Bar for a bit acceleration of the already-animated party mood. People were drinking, dancing, chatting all around the place. Cameras were everywhere which proved that TBs are indeed cam-whores! Undoubtedly, everyone had one hell of a great party time!!!

Victor whose presence prevented us from missing the American TBs in the meet up, and for commending my accent. LOL
Erna, my long-lost twin sister, who was actually prettier in person and a very good dancer!
Rini who was also a dancing queen herself.
Najiah who not only looked like Cameron Diaz, but had shown a character that everyone will surely love.
Calgaryjay who has maintained his nice boy image, from
Woosah, in his very gentle character, made his way to conversate and connect with each one of us in the meet up.
My fellow Pinoys who make me so proud JeAr and Hanie whose enery level is admirable and for elevating the party into another level by bringing up the idea of Tequilla! Yeah, boy!
Christian who had finally came out in the flesh. Thanks for the presence, bro!
Erni who obviously was a cam whore, too! LOL
