Vattetot-sur-Mer
Vattetot-sur-Mer is a very small village on the coastal route from Etretat to Fecamp. The route is also a wonderful bicycle if you are in these regions. The village is very small with its only 258 inhabitants and it is situated only 7 km north of Etretat.
Since I had all time in the world I stopped and enjoyed the many beautiful houses. Especially one house caught my attention; it was the joint building for the city major, the school and the municipality. The building style once again made me look – There was no doubt that once this building had been the proud and joy of this city and probably built as a joint effort amongst its inhabitants.
The houses in general were in pretty good shape and most of them build in stone in order to take the wind from the sea.
