Walking the people filled streets is always a treasure; your eyes get treats everywhere. The old market was q cacophony of different sounds from gypsy bands to the local circus, radio cars and the suicidal roller coaster. Some rain was unfortunately taking to top of the joy but still most of the people seem to enjoy themselves.
Today’s clue happen at the restaurant where we just managed to get a space under the umbrella before the rain came. Less lucky was a guy who came after the rain had stopped; he sat down just at the edge of the covered area, when the wind emptied the roof in his crotch. He got wet and would probably not leave until his pants dried. On these market days there are people who get went pants in other ways and you don't want to put in that category.
The sun came and people filled the streets; the street concerts started and people gathered and the ambiance grew. I really enjoyed my walk of the streets and this time visiting Gent festival I was not sleeping here and I had to drive home. I enjoyed a Gentse Triple which I never had tasted before; it will not be one of my favourites but I always enjoy tasting something that I haven't tasted before.
The second clue happen when we were walking back to the car close to the Gravensteen castle; here a guy was sleeping over a fence and his bike. I guess he had too many beers the poor guy. Wonder how he feels in his body when he wakes up.
