One day visit in Maastricht
My friend Christian and I (yes Christian and Christian and both from Denmark) drove to Maastricht to visit the city for the first time for both of us. We both enjoy driving around Belgium and the neighbouring countries and sometimes we join up to see a place together.
Maastricht is not more than an hour drive from Brussels and we arrived on a beautiful day where there was foreseen to be opera on the town square. This meant that the whole city was dressed up and there were monitors on every small square where to they would broadcast the concert for all the people that couldn’t fit on the Town Square.
We walked around in the cosy city for a couple of hours and found a nice little outdoor café from where we watched the pedestrian life and the worlds go by. The café had a nice selection of beers so we decided to hang around for a while there before w would find our car for the return to Brussels.
