National day in Brussels or not

This national day was greeted with fantastic weather; there were more than 30 degrees Celsius. I was thinking about walking in to the city but I was not sure that I would stay there. I took the car and I was sure I done the right thing. Brussels Centrum was completely blocked so I decided to visit Mechelen where the crowds could be anticipated less.
