I have now been working more than 3 years in the lovely city of Brussels and I have the last 18 months had the fortune of living here full time. One of the first things I have become to understand is why expats don't want to leave again. When I arrived I had a goal of walking the streets of Brussels and driving the roads of Belgium. One of my goals here is to visit all large cities in Belgium and afterwards know a lot about Belgium.
The Maasmechelen Village Outlet
Today I visited one the other outlets in the surrounding of Brussels - if you by that can accept that it will take you around one hour to get there from Brussels.

The Maasmechelen Village Outlet are built up on the same concept as many of the others. It is a nice outlet but with nothing exceptional. The shops are concentrating on clothing and especially female clothing. The shops are almost always open and it is a nice thing that they are open on Sundays where almost everyhting else is closed. There are good parking possibilities there and it is worth to go there if you have some money to spend.
As always it is very attractive to visit the outlet when there is a sale, like this time a year in January.

The Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 10.00 – 18.00. In January, February and March it is also open every Sunday except on Sunday March 23.
