End of May

I have now been working more than 3 years in the lovely city of Brussels and I have the last 18 months had the fortune of living here full time. One of the first things I have become to understand is why expats don't want to leave again. When I arrived I had a goal of walking the streets of Brussels and driving the roads of Belgium. One of my goals here is to visit all large cities in Belgium and afterwards know a lot about Belgium.

End of May

Yet another month have almost gone in this wonderful city. April and May has just been amazing seen from a Danish expat. The weather has been so much better all week in Brussels that going home sometimes felt like a punishment. Going back to rain and wind. One thing about Brussels when its great weather is that evrybody will be outside. In Denmark you invite friends home when you wnat to treat them. In Belgium you invite your friends out - so already here you see the difference much more people are out eating in restaurants or sitting in cafés. When you then add the good weather you will find everybody in the streets, restaurants, café or whatever - just as they are out.

The "Münt" is the office building where I spend the most of my waken time in Brussels - I would have prefered that it was outside but not. The Münt is in the middle of the city and I could not have wished for anything better being a real city person. I live 3 stops away in the metro at Art Lois.
