LE GRECO-ROMAIN

I have now been working more than 3 years in the lovely city of Brussels and I have the last 18 months had the fortune of living here full time. One of the first things I have become to understand is why expats don't want to leave again. When I arrived I had a goal of walking the streets of Brussels and driving the roads of Belgium. One of my goals here is to visit all large cities in Belgium and afterwards know a lot about Belgium.
LE GRECO-ROMAIN
Just on the flipside of Place Brouckere towards the old fish market you can find a restaurant called Le Greco Romain, which I have visited a couple of times having lunch. The restaurant is situated at the small Place du Samedi which is a small square on the direct way down to the action on Quai aux Briques.

The cuisine consists of Italian, French, Greek dishes. I have only been at this place when the sun has been shining being able to sit outside enjoying a lunch. The food is ok but be prepared that the service can be a bit slow especially when you are about to pay the check.

Their dishes are usually large and the quality ok. It is a good alternative if you are heading for a traditional junk food meal, because the prices are fair and the restaurants has a good ratio between price and quality.
