This was us trying to keep up with the other cars in our caravan.
We left our homes in north Texas on a warm Friday morning to make what we thought would be an easy drive to San Antonio
. First of all a caravan with four cars trying to stay together on the interstate is not always an easy feat. We somehow managed to make it to Hillsborro together. We stopped for a quick lunch in Hillsborro before getting back on I35 for the rest of the drive. When we arrived in Round Rock
we hit horrible traffic. We were able to travel aroun ten miles in an hour and a half because of a bad wreck. We did make it to San Antonio around six in the afternoon. It also rained part of the way there. We checked into our hotel rooms and had time for a really really quick change of clothes before we walked the five blocks to the Alamodome. We attended the Beth Moore conference on Friday night and Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon our group split and everyone went their own ways. My sister, best friend and I hung around San Antonio for the rest of the afternoon. We had a wonderful dinner on the Riverwalk. We then took the boat tour on the Riverwalk even though we had all done so previously. We finally decided about 4:30 we should probably hit the road for the drive home.
