FREAKS!!!!
OMG ERIN AND I ON A ROAD TRIP....AGAIN!!!!!
Erin (poohstanggt) and i are both co-organizing the VEGAS TB MEETUP PART 3 this weekend. There will be a few TBs flying in early before the PRE MEETUP. We might do a small mini meetup as well. Erin and i plan to drive to vegas together. Since we were already in LA together might as well cancel my flight to VEGAS. Erin picked me up roughly around 10am. We just need to go to few pit stop before hitting the road to VEGAS.
Erin got gas. I made a few phone calls to my neighbors that I will arrive sooner than I had said. After a pit shop in Pasadena, we are off to Victorville for a Guy Fieri foodie stop. One of his DINERS, DRIVE IN'S AND DIVES spots on the FOOD NETWORK. We skipped breakfast to eat there. We knew it will be worth it. Erin kept laughing at me that show up my mum's house with a shopping cart.

It was a 2hr drive to Victorville. Erin and Melissa has been having some serious "MELANIE WITHDRAWLS", they have been txting each other since i have been gone HAHAHAHA. Both of us are so tired, i am still recouping from MEXICO trip and Erin is just tired from her drama with her lappy.
I am hoping a “brian burger” would wake me up HAHAHA. I have not seen the show in a long time I don’t remember what was yummy. Erin said not to ask for ketchup. OK I WILL THEN :P
I passed out when we left Victorville, I woke up with when I saw the strip. Gosh I was so tired. It was too late to tell Erin no to take the 215 to my house. I gave her crap that she was slow. Then ANGRY ERIN appeared HAHAHA it was awesome HAHAHAHA :P

The appearance of the diner is divey, but they, it has been there since 1947, and besides, I love those types of places. They usually have great food, and we weren't disappointed.
Erin and i sat down at the counter, on a wobbly stool and ordered the "brian burger" with fries and we both split it. OMG when shelly the waitress brought our burger, it was HUGE for 2 half sizes. it was not your normal bun. it was a thick cheese bread with a juicy burger and green peppers. the bread reminded me of the cheese bread from sizzler. Thick-cut fries accompanied, which were cooked to perfection - nice and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside.
We were city girls, as most of the clientele are regulars, yet they didn't make you feel out of place or strange. i sat next to dan, that has been coming here since the 70's. he was happily to chat with me about were we are from. I was just happy to experience the nostalgia of it all, a little piece of Americana on Route 66 in Victorville. I will definitely be back for breakfast.
