I decided to go to guatemala to improve my spanish, work as a volunteer and travelling around central america. why guatemala? cause it was the cheapest country and in my opinion the most interesting one.

flores is a really nice relaxed town on a small island in a lake. i just stayed there one night before heading to belize and mexico the next day.
on the way back i stayed there again for 2 days with the people i met on the bus to visit the amazing maya ruins of tikal!
