To Valkenswaard

Today in our list is visiting the small city Valkenswaard and do some shopping over there.

The name Valkenswaard stems from its history of falconers, who caught wild falcons there; valk is Dutch for "falcon". It lay on a route where falcons migrated south each year. In the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, Valkenswaardian falconers were active at many European courts, in which falconing was a beloved pastime. In the 19th and 20th century, a number of large cigar factories were founded in Valkenswaard, the two most renowned of which being Willem II and Hofnar ("court jester"). Valkenswaard's falcon-catching area has now been built over and falcons are no longer caught there.

We have simple breakfast, cheese croissants with soft boiled egg & tea.

The eggs suppose to be soft boiled, end result become medium boiled, due to the low setting of the portable gas stove is not exactly very low:( Plus the aluminium bowl that we used heat penetrates in a mush faster speed, that way things get cooked pretty fast.

Is nice to have breakfast in the nature where the sun is shining, and the heat penetrating to warm up the forest.
The birds are singing the same tune over and over again, the bees are buzzing here and there, everyone is having breakfast and the utensils jing ge ling, is like a symphony orchestra playing:P

Some of the couples shifted their tables and chairs to the center field to enjoy their breakfast under the sun.
After breakfast some of them plan an outing trip, some just stay in the campsite to enjoy a relaxing afternoon.
For us we'll usually go for a day trip elsewhere. Depends very much which location we are in, sometimes we plan a daytrip to the neighbouring countries, one day into Germany another day into Belgium. Especially camping location in the south is nearby Germany and Belgium border.
