Tromsø!
On August 3rd, waaay early in the morning, we packed our bags and headed for Oslo airport. Our flight was going to Tromsø, then Svalbard, And it did. We were in the air above Longyear City, but due to the worst for there in years, we had to return to Tromsø and wait for further notice. And this took the most of our day, and afte lots of waiting we were told that the plane wouldn't leave until sometime tomorrow afternoon. So we got rooms in Thon Polar Hotel in Tromsø, and checked out the city, since mot of us had never been to Tromsø. They actually call Tromsø the "paris of the North", but why, I have no idea. They say its because of the vivid life and happenings up there, but I did not get that impression at all. It was a small town by the sea, with some nice cafèes and shops, but definatley no Paris. We were all kind of tired, so we went to bed early that day, hoping to get a positive message from Scandinavian Airlines the following day..
