I will update this page shortly.

Even tho this is a 3 star its worth the money. Its only 3/4 mins at most away from san marco square and the Rialto bridge. The staff are very friendly, and helpful, make sure however that you get up before 10, as your continetial breakfast is part of your stay, tho it wasnt mentioned to us when we first arrived. Its also tricky to find at first, but as you will soon find out when you arrive in venice EVERYTHING is tricky to find, tho the city is a labyrinth of beautiful paths and bridges so getting lost now and again just seems like another part of the adventure. This hotel is very close to some nice restraunts, and has a really nicely walk back from marcos square, walking thro beautiful paths while listening to the really talented street singers of venice. I give it a 8.5/10
Imo this was money well spent. The Canal Grande Tour is with private water taxi and professional guide who is really freindly and spoke in at least 4 languages to the passengers. She explained the history behind all of the most famous building on the canal front. I would say the best time for this excurtion would be early on in the day so you can enjoy a nice lunch and relax afterwards. The grand canal tour lasted about 1 hour and cost 20 euro. You can book this excurtion at the info centre in san marcos square.
