This is the blog for the 2 day trip to Region Nord-Pas-de-Calais in France. We visited La Couple, Bunker Eperlecques, Forteresse de Minoyecques and Mussee du Mur de l'Atliantique a Audinghen. These places famous for the launching of the V1 rockets by the germans at London and Belgium. Also the planned sites for the launching of the V2 and V3 Rockets. Also we went to the Cap-Gris-Nez.

The Third stop of the day was the German Bunker at CAP GRIS NEZ, AUDINGHEN.  This is one of the many bunkers in the Atlantic wall; inside there is a museum with lots of stuff from the war, including Nazi artifacts.  Outside the museum is lots of vehicles and artillery on display, including the 218 ton, 35 meter long railway gun.   The range of this massive weapon was 62 kilometers and 86 Kilometers with special shells.  Needless to say that was the best part about that museum.  After the museum we went to the coast and go to see across the English Channel and see England itself.  Pretty neat we could do that.
