The nature by itself was wonderful (lots of peacocks too), and apart from that there where also lots of ruins and the old cathedral to be visited. At the top of the island (the climb was realy tuff under the open sky... It was noon and the sun burned like crazy) lies
Some further down in the forest we found a small lake with deep blue (salt) water, full of fish and surrounded by high, steep rocks. Behind them lay the sea and a tunnel-like cave brought the water in this little basin. The passage was mainly underwater though, so we couldn't swim through it. But because of the closed area the water was a lot saltier than in the open sea, and floating around in it was surprisingly easy. There were some other people around who had also discovered this beautiful spot, but yet it remained extremely quite. We stayed here for hours just wondering around, diving and picnicking.
During our diner at the hotel plaza that night we were accompanied by some six cats, which of course all hoped for a little treat. We didn't notice them the first day, but they kept coming back every night...
