The Meetup

 It's needless to say that Pinoy Travbuddies love meet ups so much. In fact, in the first quarter of the year, Manila meet ups became a monthly happening. Initiated by the first meetup in January, though a mini one with only eight people attended, it seemed endless when bigger meetups in February and March were organized where we were also joined by some foreign friends who visited our country and whom we want to share Pinoy's hospitality with.

And so friendships were formed that it didn't need organizing a TB meet up for Pinoys to gather. Almost every weekend, we would find ourselves with each other's companies either over dinner or coffee. For a few months, Travbuddy has not heard of organized TB meet ups in Manila.

Until more and more Pinoys signed in who later on became equally active as the “old timers”. Therefore, it was high time to call for another meet up!

At least a month before the big day, a usual forum was created which served as the information generator for the event.

Little did we expect this will indirectly invite a handful of Travbuddies abroad to join us last July 17 at Dencio's Grill- CCP Complex, in what I believe has been Pinoy TBs biggest meetup yet.

The meet up was a blast, thanks to the people who made it happen:

Isabetlog and Planisphere who didn't mind driving to CCP Complex just to be with us.
