TravBuddy meet up in New York City

At Zona Rosa, we continued our TB meet up and had a fun night. The bar has a cool and cozy atmosphere with dim lighting and colorful cornice lighting for accent. The bartenders provided good service and even suggested we order the beers on special to save money. As much as hipidy-hop and pop dance recordings vex me, the music selection was random enough to include some cool 80's pop songs and even some rock music, so everyone was satisfied with the variety.

The best thing about the bar, of course, were the reasonable prices, which can be tough to find in the city! There was no cover charge Thursday night, drinks are actually FREE for an hour (although regrettably, most of us got there too late for that part), and many drinks were half price for happy hour. A rather small Jameson's on the rocks was $7, but there were well drinks and some domestic beers on special for $4 (other places in New York might charge $8-10).
