Finally we landed in Boston about a half hour late which was not good at all! To add to that, we were delayed getting to our gate to unload because they were not ready for our plane. I couldn’t figure that one out since we were late to start with, but we’re here and that’s all that matters. We had only an hour to get our luggage, go through customs, find our way to the domestic departure counter and check our bags, then back through security to catch our flight to Baltimore. Getting through customs was quick and simple, but going from the international gates to the domestic gates was confusing. There were no good signs telling you where you needed to go or how to get there. There were large “you are here maps” but they both showed the same thing no matter what end of the building you were on. Finally we remembered we had to go outside to the next building to get to the domestic flights. Once we found the AirTran counter, the girls worked very quickly getting our boarding passes and they allowed us to check all three of our bags, which was very nice because it turned out there wasn’t very much room in the overhead storage on this plane. We got to the gate just as they started to board, found our seats, and settled in for the short flight from Boston to Baltimore. Since it’s only an hour and a half flight from Boston to Baltimore, we were in coach seating for this flight. We’ve now been awake and traveling for approximately 19 hours and we are beat! Can’t wait to get home now!
Next stop, Baltimore/Washington International Airport and a 30 minute drive to Annapolis...home.
