Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument

Kanab Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

Had a great visit out west, mostly to southern Utah. Visited many national and state parks. I think my favorites were Zion NP and Kodachrome SP, though it is tough to choose. Anyway, I don't need to go to Europe now because all the Europeans were over here :). I'd estimate 80% or more of the people in the national parks were from Europe (even more when you got on the trails). Met many great people from all over. This is a beautiful part of the world. Enjoy the pictures!

Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument

The Grand Staircase is a huge National Monument that cover much of southern Utah.  Its a beautiful area, but recent rains made many the rodes in the the area we were in impassable, even with 4 wheel drive, so we missed some things we had planned to see.
