We got to London finally. Unfortunatly, London is a huge city, a lot bigger than I anticipated. By that I mean I thought Heathrow was closer to the actual city of London where all the site/sight seeing was. Now I was very very very wrong. It cost us probably 20 pounds a day to go back and forth to the city. Lesson learned. We walked all around London trying to find the different things that you just have to see, like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Parliment, stuff like that. We saw all that stuff but I was most taken with the living statues that are all over the strip of road where the Eye of London is, which buy the way costs an arm and a leg. They are covered in gold and silver paint and they don't move, it's rather amazing. We saw a very ornate church and the statue of Sir Winston Churchill. Across the street from all that stuff was the protestor who's been sitting outside Parliment since the war in Iraq. I love that guy. We tried to go over and talk to him but the traffic was murder and we couldn't get across so we just went to the London Aquarium. It was awesome. I highly recommend it. I love aquariums. The best food we ate there was on the carts and duh the fish and chips. Classic. We didn't have much time there, we pretty much just had the day. But it was fun.
