Traffic Jam in the mountains
The nickname of my travelbuddy is Finkenstein. Fun part is, that at the Slovenian/ Austrian border there is really a place called FINKENSTEIN. So we just had to go to there. We puzzled out that this would take us about 2 hours. There were two option to get there from Bad Gastein. Or we would take the car train, wait for an hour and pay 20-30 euros. Or.. we would make a small detour and go through a tunnel, which would cost us less, and we would probably be there earlier, as there was already a big line in front of the car train station. With good spirit and all rested we took the trip, then after an hour, behind a curve we had to drive slower, slower, slow, still, 1 minute... 5 minutes.... people got out of there cars seeing what was the deal. There was a traffic jam.
Faakersee, Austria
In front of the tunnel, it was black saturday, the worst day to drive on European roads to the south, and we were in the middle of it. It took us 3 hours of 15 minutes standing still, drive for 2 minutes and do the routine over and over again. The sun was burning, the water was warm and almost empty, and there was no end to it....

Finally after 5 hours we arrived at Finkenstein. A small community near the touristic Faakersee. A lake with a small beach near it. We took our chance to get a tan of the last sun, and chilled out at the lake. Here we had to make a desicion. I had two option, or we we went to the Bled lake in Slovenia, which would be beautifull, and we could kayak the next day. Or we would celebrate our saturday and visit a big techno party at the Slovenian coast city of Izola.
Party Hardy in Slovenia
As real partyholics we choosed the second option and went to "Global Gathering" at the famous Ambasada Gazioli at Izola.

The sun went down, we were again in a traffic jam in Slovenia, where they make new roads from EU money, it was 9 o'clock and we hád to eat. We saw a sign to a restaurant some kilometers off the road. It looked like some US dessert. Only mountains, dust, one casino and one bog hotel. We saw the card, I went for pasta, which was only €4 ! My friend took scorpion fish, which was said to be €4,50. He knew the fish from Discovery Channel, his name comes from the hard spikes and ugly head of the fish, like a scorpion. After a small hour we finally got our food. Someone came to make the fish ready. What a luxury for €4,50 ! After a good meal we asked for the bill.
Thanks neighbor, for using your garden!
Hmm this isnt right... €49,50 ?? Apparently the fish was €4,50 a decikilo :o  whooppsss.....

It was dark, we had no card for Slovenia (I accidently bought a card of Slovakia), and didnt know where the party was being held. We asked 10 drivers and locals who all looked at us in a strange way. The last group asked us, are you searching for any drugs then? Hmm strange... We found the party, everyone was drinking out of beer and vodkabottles in front of the car !! The venue is a great venue, with different stages with benches, you can walk around the area, along the dj booth and the big dancefloor. Everybody went crazy at every beat, the vibe was magnificent! But everyone, and i mean e-ver-y-one was on drugs. It was crazy, but the vibe was the best :D Marc Houle, Valentino Kanzyani and Oxia played the best techno. The sun came up and shined through the club. We were tired as hell and had to find a place to sleep. We drove for 3 minutes to find a good green field to throw up our tents and sleep. A good green field. It was the backyarden of someones home :D
