Chills and thrills
July 21, 2008
With a really early wake up call, we had to leave the isle of Krk, but not before we had payed the witch. She wouldn't let go of us, she had to know where we were going, so she could send bad weather to us, pick some hairs from us and put a spell on us.
Over the huge bridge of Krk, through the highway along the coastline of Croatia, is one of the most beautiful routes I've ever been on. Left side big mountains, right side the meditarean sea, sometimes straight next to us, sometimes with a cliff from a few meters. Driving through small villages with nice bays, a few fishing boats, a fruit stand, good music in the car, this was the life, this was road tripping !!
We hard that at the island Pag, there was a city called Novalja, which was supposed to be thé Ibiza of Croatia. As we were interested in what they saw as Ibiza, and we were up for a good party, we went to Novalja. First up was to take the boat. Pag is a long small island, which looks like Afghanistan or any other random sand/stone dessert.
We stayed at the Strasko camping, a huge camping, 1 kilometer in lenght, with a beach on it, with beautiful girls on it :D The city of Novalja had one bar and we didnt get it why this was the Ibiza of Croatia... So after a few drinks we went to the camping at night, got our bottles of vodka and rum and chilled on the beach.
