Mini, mini TB meet-up
I called Gudny this morning and talked with her on my way to the gym. Half way there, I found that I wasn't going to make both the gym AND into Oslo till 1pm. So I turned my car around and headed home.
I changed from gymclothes, into more appropriate clothes for a trip to town and went to Lena. Had to pick something up before I went to Oslo. Once there I found that I had forgotten something at home and had to go back AGAIN... Oh well, I fetched the things I'd forgotten and jumped in the car and took off. Made one stop on the way at Lunner, and then continued to Oslo. I was there at 12.40pm and met Gudny outside Burger King at Oslo Central trainstation. After just a few minutes of chatting, Allan showed up. We got introduced and agreed to go and have some lunch.
I don't know what the restaurant is called, but it was nice. Good food and great company. We had a good time talking and laughing. And sweet Allan picked up the bill for all of us... what a guy! Thank you, Allan... I owe you one.. :o)))
From the restaurant we headed down to the Opera House, which was nice since I hadn't seen it up close before. Just driven by in a hurry...lol
We walked around and shot some pics from almost all angels. We was also on the top of the building and shot some view pics.. and then we took a peak inside. It's kinda cool how they have built it and the materials they've used.
I'd texted Eric to check when he was coming back into town from Bergen, and he said he was in at 2.40. So we walked over to the Central station and met him at the same place we met Allan. Another round of introducing and chatting. Eric picked up his trainticket for Netherland and then we went to Oslo City to relax, have a cold drink, talk and laugh. (and take some pics..lol) Both Eric and Allan are easy to talk with, so there were no acward moments. Time runs fast in good company and I would have loved to stay longer, but with a 2 hours drive home, I had to cut it short. :o(
At around 4pm both me and Gudny had to head home, so we said our goodbyes and see you agains and took off.
Hopefully I'll meet both Allan and Eric some other time... :o))
