Capernaum: Ruins, Ruins, Everywhere

The journey to Israel appealed to me for reason far less pious than I, sometimes, am willing to concede. Most simply: I went to reunite with a dear friend who had, by equal parts choice and chance, settled there. After eight years apart from her, I took the plunge. And it was, rewarding beyond measure, to our friendship, and,to me as Christian.
