A Quick Trip to Paradise....South Lake Tahoe for the Afternoon
Melanie and I had decided to drive up and check out South Lake Tahoe for the afternoon and my non TB friend Chuck happened to have the day off from work so he joined us for some strange adventures. He was a good sport and actually takes just as many photos as we do! LOL. We drove around, had a typical casino special prime rib dinner ($10.50) at a place called Lakeside and then wandered around the lake for a bit. It was a gorgeous day and still warm out which was nice.
We headed back down the hill and still kept Chuck kidnapped with us and stopped at Big Spoon for some sugar free indulgence! Chuck had not been to Big Spoon before but he ended up liking it. After that, we came back to my house to watch the Olympics and play some pool. Best 2 out of 3, eh? Geez, I got my booty whopped. Chuck is a good player and quite the hustler I think! HA HA. We enjoyed some of our homemade infused tequila and Mel had some vodka and sugar free red bull. Of course she blogged while Chuck and I played pool.
We tried to stay up for a bit more to watch the Olympics but Chuck kept nodding off so I took him back home and then chatted with Melanie for a bit until I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore! Off to bed for me again...hard to believe Mel is already going home tomorrow! :-(
